- To reserve a room,
we require a two-night deposit.
- A $25 cancellation
fee applies to all reservations. If cancellation is
made less than 72 hours prior to the reserved date,
the entire deposit is non-refundable.
- There is a $100.00
early check out charge added to rooms that check out
prior to confirmed departure date after the guest
has checked in.
- Rates are subject to
6% Michigan Sales Tax and a 8% Hotel Levy.
- Check In Time: 3:00
p.m., Check Out Time: 12:00 p.m.
- Standard rooms will
accommodate up to four people and some premium and
deluxe rooms up to five. Suite capacity is eight
people.
- Please have
dockhands on the mainland tag your luggage "The
Island House" for easy identification by our
porters.
- Upon departure, our
bellman will re-tag your luggage for the appropriate
city and boat line. Please allow 90 minutes prior to
departure.
- Special requests
such as a certain room or air conditioning cannot be
guaranteed. We try our best to accommodate requests
and are successful most of the time. Reservations
are prioritized by need and by the date the
reservation was made.
- All rates and
packages are based on double occupancy.
- LUGGAGE- The Island
House makes every effort to assist our guests in
safeguarding their belongings. However, The Island
House cannot be responsible for any damage to your
luggage or its contents.
Breakables, medicines, computers, video equipment,
travel documents and valuables should be hand
carried by the guest at all times. Baggage handling
service is complimentary, however, guests are in no
way obligated to use these services. The Island
House is not responsible for any lost or stolen
luggage.
